Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I feel that an English composition course is a great class to take your senior year of high school because it prepares you for the styles of writing done on the collegiate level.

    Course highlights:

This class discussed the importance of writing correctly in different styles. One of my favorite aspects of the class was that it was relevant to issues today and a lot of the assignments revolved around portraying our own beliefs and opinions through writing.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying in any course is always important. It is important to write and practice writing every day to prepare yourself for college composition assignments.

Classic novels, such as The Great Gatsby, will be taught during this class. Ms. Beland teaches her students how to write in a less formulaic fashion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Challenge yourself by taking this advanced course. Writing is an essential skill that needs to be practiced thoroughly. Ms. Beland has become many students' favorite teacher after completing this course.
