    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The reason why I wouldn't recommend this course is because the text book has very little information in it. At first I was very excited about this course cause I wanted to learn more about the different music genres. However, after I saw the amount of information in the text book, I lost interest. If you do take this class, I recommend reading the text book, and then do your own research to really learn and appreciate the music genre. If you're looking for an easy class, then I would recommend this class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning about different music genres.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for students taking this course is read the text book, and listen to the music samples.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Apodaca is an amazing professor who makes an effort to genuinely get to know all 500 or so of her students. She is also very knowledgable in the history of different kinds of music, and she is very passionate about her job, which makes her class just that much better.

    Course highlights:

Not only did I increase my knowledge of different kinds of music, but I also learned very valuable life lessons from Professor Apodaca.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Although MU100 is a relatively easy class, make sure that you go to lectures, because there will be class participation, and sometimes even extra credit awarded. Also make sure to take the tests, even though they are online and fairly easy, they still do count for credit and can affect your grade.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was a really enjoyable course to take! Professor Apodaca is an amazing person and will make the class worth while on her own. The class is an easy AUCC credit and is a lot of fun to go to, it's never boring! (I was an engineering major so music isn't my "thing" but I loved it)

    Course highlights:

You learn so much more than just music stuff in her class, she cares about every student and is an amazing person. I would even say I recommend this class purely because of Professor Apodaca.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just show up to class. It's fun and you'll never be disappointed, she keeps it exciting.
