    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a required course, but I absolutely would recommend taking it with MaryAnn Kokoska. This course can seem intimidating at first as many students have often not developed their figure drawing skills before, but MaryAnn does a great job at giving each student plenty of feedback and advice!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to better observe the human figure and render a drawn likeness of the model. The highlights were definitely experimenting with all of the different mediums and it ended up helping me improve my skills in illustration.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely show up to every class if you can. It is very difficult to make up the work considering we use live models to draw and often even sketches count toward your grade. Show up and be very careful of your language so as to not make the model uncomfortable in any way.
