Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Best PSY class I have ever taken! Lauren is a very thorough professor with a real passion for psychology.

    Course highlights:

I learned just how much I am going to love my future career as a psychologist.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class every single day. The course is very doable if you just apply yourself. The more days you miss, the much more difficult it is to pass.

This course is not only interesting, but insightful. The material is fairly easy to master, and it is something you can apply and recognize in day-to-day life. You will also get the chance to participate in actual research studies.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the course, there are multiple writing assignments that allow you to reflect upon what you have learned, as well as apply that knowledge. Also, you will be made aware of many phenomena that you may catch yourself guilty of doing. In short, you will use the information you learn in this course in every day life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in general psychology, make sure to read the assigned text before attending lecture. It is helpful to have a basic understanding of the topic before the professor explains it in order to facilitate the learning of the material, as well as recalling it. Also, pay attention in lecture and take detailed notes, as the information covered in lecture is the most likely to be tested.
