Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Valerio is very knowledgeable in the area of Hispanic culture. His teaching style is simple and formatted to meet the needs of his students. His quick wit and excellent sense of humor make him ideal for teaching important material in a relevant way.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were personal stories that Mr. Valerio told us. In addition to this, the books we read and topics we discussed inside of class were fun, interactive, and relatable. I learned about the history and beginnings of intrinsic issues of Spanish culture and they key influencers in today's modern culture.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read and discuss in class what you read. It is important to use examples from the books and to prepare beforehand what you might say. His worksheets can be a little confusing and don't hesitate to seek him out during office hours as he is very kind to meet with you and help you prepare.
