Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This guy is very enthusiasm to explain everything about the subject to students. If you have more free time, go to meet him at his office hours to ask about questions which you want to know more for your Chem 111 exams.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me is the equivalence section, thermodynamics sections.. what I understand the basic rules for all general processes in Chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to get success in this subject, I think you should take your time to learn again what the professor taught in the class, and then complete most of the exercises which they ask you to finish. Should spend more time to read the section that you will learn before going to class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course solely based on the professor who teaches this course. If you would like to succeed in CHEM 111 I do not recommend taking this course from Ulbrich, she is all over the place with her power points and somewhat rude to students treating them more along the lines of kids rather than adults.

    Course highlights:

From CHEM 111 you gain an understanding of basic Chemistry which will help with leading on to more difficult Chemistry. This course is a stepping stone to higher levels of Chemistry such as O-Chem.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed in this course I definitely recommend spending 2-3 hours after each lecture reviewing what you just learned. This course is very time consuming, so if you're not willing to put in the time or effort you can expect a pretty bad grade in the end.
