    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great course on the overall change in technology and how we are all reacting to it. Even though it is not on the top of our minds. I found this course interesting and thought provoking at the same time. Study tip - make flash cards from the slides and study them, your mid term depends on it!

    Course highlights:

I learned more about a concept called the Circuit of Culture which we all are a part of. It discusses the relationships between how we react to messages from the consumers perspective and what role we may play when we get into as a possible producer.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are interested in communications, journalism, psychology or sociology this course should be a requirement. It really allows you to intensely study the perspective of all aspects of communication with new, and changing, technologies. Also, this course is very self-paced. If you want to read all the assigned readings like me, you will get so much out of the class. If you do not, the slides are where most of the questions on the exams come from. Also you will have to do a presentation with your group in front of class.
