Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely loved this course- it taught me to look at the world around me in a completely new way, with both a critical eye and a hopeful eye. Dr. Souza was well-informed, but also took the time to create bonds with each student and to help each of us to be the best we could be, both as just a student, but also as a person existing in a world that is not yet perfect.

    Course highlights:

For me, the highlight of this course was the small-group discussion. It allowed you to hear the perspectives from people who have completely different life experiences and personal lenses, and to form relationships with people whom you never would have otherwise.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My number one tip for taking this course would be to keep up with the readings! Yes, this is a very reading-heavy course, but most of the readings are fun, interesting, and informative. As long as you keep up on that, the course is relatively easy and definitely fun!
