    Course Overview:

    Ronald Holt, the professor makes it interesting and easy to understand. As a course high in content material, Ron highlights the most important things to know to male it easier and straightforward.

    Course highlights:

    Haven to write an essay on a new technology currently in use. I learned RFID helps a lot in tracking systems on construction sites and improves safety. I got so interested in this technology that I wrote so well on it and received an A grade.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Its a necessary course that one should take. It exposes you to simple basic construction materials and the methods in which they are applied in the Construction industry. Having a basic knowledge of these materials and how they work gives any student a strong foundation.

    Course Overview:

    CON 151 gives a broad introduction to all materials and methods in the Construction Field. Ronald Holt does a great job by making this class interesting and very informative by giving research assignments and pop quizzes which enhances constant studying and prepping for the final exams. It's worth it!

    Course highlights:

    I learned how concrete is being tested for consistency and what kind of cement is appropriate for an area and construction purpose. I never knew cement had different grades.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Its helpful. All you need to do is study slides and page reference numbers he highlights in class and you will be well prepared for any tests, quizzes, or exams. Secondly, make a lot of friends in class, so what you can't understand could be explained better by someone who may have had a practical experience on a job site.
