Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Dr. Sarkar was great at discussing different textiles, their properties, and their uses. He was fair in grading and he had a great sense of humor. He made it fun to learn about a potentially boring subject.
I enjoyed the lab more than anything. We got to test all different properties of different textiles. We got to use machines that simulated years of abrasion, sun damage, heat, perspiration, washing, etc. We also had to use microscopes to analyze mystery fabrics and identify them through their weave structure.

Advice for students:
Take lots of notes! Don't take the lecture in the morning if you're not a morning person, as the subject matter is kind of boring. The lab is fun though!
