Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

recommend this course because the teacher makes the class fun and interesting, with the hands-on experience and quizzes to see how well we are doing in each chapter. He is easy to approach for any problem or question, and to ask for help.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how politics have a great effect on why many changes to the environment has yet to happen, and found out about the other ways we can gain energy, apart from solar and wind energy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to create study groups and take small tests about the chapter. Read the chapter twice, and take notes of vocab and create questions to test yourself in the future. Everything you learn will come to affect in May for your AP exam if you plan to take it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved the course because it opened my eyes up to how much pollution we can generate in a single day, and we learned how various types of trash are disposed, of which some can harm human health. Additionally, we also learned that the individual plays a vital role in society, and it is necessary we take a look at our own actions in order to help the planet.

    Course highlights:

    * The goals of environmental science * Why and how the individual matters in protecting the planet * Various types of biomes, invasive species, and native species * Nonrenewable and renewable energy * How pollution is caused and affects human health, human diseases * Where trash get burried and how it can affect residencies * Aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems and how human activities can destroy them * Plausible solutions to environmental problems

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read through the chapter thoroughly (for bolded and italicized terms, say them at least once or twice out loud without looking at the book). Do not procrastinate labs and/or homework.
