    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class started off very hard. Everyone in my class was getting low grades, and we were writing at least 3 essays in the class every week. However, this ended up being my best and favorite class. The teacher was personally invested in helping his students improve not only their writing, but their outlook in doing so. While yes, everyone did have to write 3 essays every week and read multiple chapters every night. My teacher, read and graded all those 3 essays every week and would give us feedback. I have never had such a great teacher who became my friend, and my biggest influence. Before taking this course, I thought that I was destined to become a mathematician. However, now I am taking AP Literature because I love the subject so much.

    Course highlights:

Reading my essays through out the year, and actually being able to see my progress was definitely a big highlight. Also, being in a comfortable environment and participating in group discussions really helped me develop the confidence to speak up in class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not get discouraged about getting low grades. Ultimately what matters, is learning and developing better writing skills because you need to know how to write for the rest of your life.
