Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because you get to learn more in the writting area. For example, there is more than copying your introduction into the conclusion. Mr. Vermillion teaches how to accomplish a higher level essay that prepares you for college.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to identify passages clearer by using rhetorical strategies. There are plenty of strategies that could be right as long as we always support our claims. As well as, being able to participate after we read an assigned book, which there is no wrong or right answer.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to make sure to go in during break if they need help writing an essay. The students that help actually put effort into making your essay better. There is no shame of trying to make something better.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because you will learn a whole new way of writing a higher level essay. In addition, we must understand how to use stronger citations. The citations help with knowing how to properly research and not just copy word for word.

    Course highlights:

In AP English many devices and strategies are learned to help understand our writing and articles. We also use different strategies in our writing to make our essays stronger. All of what we learn is to prepare for college writing and AP test taking.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students for this course would be to take the reading serious because we do discuss hidden ideas and describe what kind of tone characters or the author is trying to come across the reader.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

so far the ap English course has been a good experience. We read pieces of writing that apply to the real world and that develops your skills in and out of the classroom. A lot if not all of what we read and written about is really high level. For example when i read an essay in that class i really need to focus be able to understand the text clearly because of the vocabulary and the text can be indirect.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the course, we have improved our skills to collaborate and work with others. Not too long ago we did a group project on the propositions that were beeing voted for in California. We had to organize ourselves and decide which prop you could discuss in favor or in opposition of. It was fun to work with others and each student took responsibility to succeed as a group. This was a good assignment not only because we (the students) went out and did our own research but because it was something that was happening in the real world it's not just a made up story.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It feels like you learn about more than just english. The harddest part about the class is beeing able to understar the text.
