Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it has helped me immensely over the past 6 years. I have been in AVID since 7th grade all the way up to my senior year. At first, I was a girl who was unorganized and had no time management skills. Looking at myself now, i manage my time well and my binders are very organized. Also, Avid has helped with my procrastination. Now, I study the nights before, not the night before the test. Finally, AVID has helped me with my college and scholarship application. Without AVID, I don't think i would have finished my applications in time.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I gained many skills, such as study skills, organization skills, and time management skills. I learned the right way to study, i learned how to be more organized, and i learned how to fix procrastination. Without AVID, i wouldn't be the person i am today. I would be less driven as student.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you really need to be on your toes and you need to absorb and listen to every advice your teacher gives you. Also, you need to keep your grades up. it depends on every school, but usually, if you have a GPA of 2.5 or lower, you will be kicked out of the program. Do all of your work and listen to your teacher.
