Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this class because the teacher gets easily distracted. He doesn't take the class seriously.

    Course highlights:

I only learned how to do dimension analysis.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take excellent notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a difficult force, but it is a required course for any student planning to go into the medical field. Even people planning to enter engineering such as biomedical engineering will have to take this course as colleges require knowledge on general chemistry and organic chemistry. It is hard, but I would recommend this course.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me a lot about chemistry in general. It taught me a lot of the fields within chemistry and it also taught me to work hard towards my goal.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This course is difficult with a lot of workload, so develop a good work ethic and study hard.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a very good introduction to chemistry that goes beyond the basic level chemistry class that our school offers. A lot of what I learned, however, was about how to work hard and get assignments in on time. This teacher is somewhat unforgiving and makes the class difficult. When I took it, it was the hardest class I'd taken in my life, so I was very proud when I made it to the end of the year.

    Course highlights:

I was very lucky, because I took this course with an intelligent, motivated group of people and they definitely helped me by creating a fun and supportive environment. We had our own inside jokes and always spent some time just laughing with each other to reduce stress. This, along with how to work hard, was one thing I learned from AP Chemistry: how to relax. This class made me realize that I am more productive when I'm relaxed and happy.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Everyone who takes this course needs to have great relationships not only with the teacher, but also with the other students. In my class, we created a group message so that we could help each other with homework and due dates. I also think that you need to be very good at chemistry. You must take a regular chemistry class before taking the advanced placement version, because students who don't get lost in the first week and the teacher does not wait for them to catch up. Finally, have fun with the class, because the only way to get through hard classes is to enjoy them.
