    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed this class because I love to learn about American History! We would study the history, then compare and discuss the similarities it has to today. Overall, I learned a lot and really loved the class!

    Course highlights:

My favorite parts of the class were when we studied The American Revolution, and World War 2. We discussed America's reasoning, war tactics, and the other countries involved. Ms. Alamy made it feel so real, and really made it come to life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give is to always stay on top of the homework, and to always study. The class moves very fast and it can be hard to stay on top of all that has to be done. Homework is assigned every night, and it is expected to be done the next day, so make sure you do it!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course to take because it teaches the value of work. It helps teach students not to procrastinate and to stay on top of their work. It also encourages students to study outside of the classroom and gain a greater knowledge for themselves.

    Course highlights:

This course had many class discussions. I think these are very helpful to the students learning because they hear views from other students and get to greater expand their knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your notes! they pile up and although she doesn't collect them til the end of the chapter it is more beneficial to do them as you go. One it is less stressful, and two it actually helps you learn and retain the information better, causing you to be better prepared for class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is not for the information that I recommend this class. It Is for the thinking and skills that many gain from it,

    Course highlights:

As with most history lessons, there were dates and events to remember. But It also provokes a perspective on the bigger picture, and forces one to analyze for the pattern throughout history, as well as minute details and events.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make time to read the textbook and take notes. Also, though optional, it is worth it to buy a preparation book. Many in my class purchased the Baron's APUSH prep book.
