    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although I had no intentions in pursuing a career in chemistry, I believe that this class provided me with essential studying and working skills. It was a challenging course to take, but I do recommend it whether the student wants to pursue a chemistry path or not.

    Course highlights:

If pursuing a chemistry career path, this course is a wake up call to what is just the beginning of what is to come in the future. Chemistry was not my first choice, but I now know better ways to study and gained essential skills. My team work skills were forced to improve when working in the lab with classmates, and I also learned that reading is important to gain the extra edge in the class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading the extra amount is a great way to get an advantage. Constantly do problems that are in the book and just give the best effort possible.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class, although math heavy you learn a lot of material. Do well on lab books make sure everything is neat and organized. Spend time studying even when there isn't a test the next day.

    Course highlights:

I have gained more knowledge in chemistry than the regular students have. I learned to thoroughly go through lab experiments and also to create a well written lab book. I learned various study habits that helped me while taking this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I say only take this course if you are okay in math. It is easy to get lost if you aren't/ haven't taken Algebra 2 and trig. Also if you don't have any interest in sciences you should steer away from this course. There are projects so keep in mind
