    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP United States History is a very challenging and rigorous course that requires a lot of memorization, analytical thinking, and self-motivation. If history does not interest you, I would not recommend this course necessarily, but if you do enjoy learning about it, the hard work put into the class is worth it.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me the real and in-depth version of United States history. It taught me the facts about our presidents, the institution of slavery, the fight for independence, and many other topics. Learning about the history of this country gave me a much better perspective on what is happening presently in the U.S.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, you need to be able to manage your time well in order to complete the coursework. Make sure that you stay motivated and do your work as soon as it is assigned. You cannot get by without studying because the majority of the test is memorization. Listen in class, so what you heard will help you in the future.
