Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course, as I find the teacher to be inviting. I believe that this course is a nice introduction to high-school mathematics. This course will serve as a foundation for almost all things to come in mathematics.
Course highlights:
Due to my odd circumstances in education, I had already studied algebra 2 prior to taking this course. However, while taking it I was able to gain different insights into the subject.
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
The most important thing in this course, aside from doing well on exams is participation. The teacher seems to value participation and effort over most other things. However, do still study and do the homework, as exams are graded normally, and not based on participation.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
I would highly recommend this course soley because of Mr. Blanchards teaching skills. He gives step by step with new topics were learning, he helps you when you need. He doesnt go on to another topic until we all understand how to do the problem. And not only that but he also gives us advice on what to do for college.
Course highlights:
Ive learning alot in this class, he tought us everything from the basics of algebra to more complex problems
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
Ask for help if you need it, he will help you
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course, because while it may not be a lot of new concepts, it is a great class to review previously learned material. College Algebra teaches the students exactly what the course title suggests. It goes over and reinforces a lot of previously taught math concepts. It is a great class to take for someone who wants to sharpen their skills, and perfect their problem solving strategies .
Course highlights:
After completing this course, I really felt that I was able to gain a better and more concrete understanding of high school math as a whole. This math course took aspects of all four years of classes, and not only added onto them, but perfected the art of learning to accurately problem solve.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
The advice that I would give students looking into this course, would be put all your effort into it, just as you would say an English course. You will get out of the class, what you put into it. If you are willing to work, and meet with your professor, you will exit the course having improved your math background, and skills as a whole.
