Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Calculus AB is considered to be one of the most difficult classes, but if you have a great strength in Algebra you'll do just fine. AP Cal AB teaches students about the fundamentals of derivatives and integrals. It's main focus is to help the students get a grasp on how to approach calculus problems numerically, graphically, and verbally.

    Course highlights:

I first learned how to approach certain equations through the hard way and gradually learned as a class room how to breakdown equations and making it simpler and easier to solve.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class no matter what, missing one thing means a lot! And remember to always ask questions because most likely everyone is as confused as you and just as scared as you to ask the question.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this class as a senior (or somebody that's at least had pre-calculus) and is going into the STEM field. This class will provide a great foundation to anybody that will have to take math in college.

    Course highlights:

I have gained various math skills that will most definitely help me in my college classes. Mrs. St-John has a lot of methods that will help you remember things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate on the homework. If you need help, she is always happy to help you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it gives you a chance at developing your own study habits that you can benefit from in college. Though this course may be challenging, it enables you to eliminate and distinguish between what study techniques work for you and which do not.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me how to be resourceful by using alternative technique to solve complex equations. This course applies key points from different math levels and it taught me how to break down extensive equations to simpler ones.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice every day, and never neglect a chapter even if you moved on to a new one in class. The more practice you have, the easier it will be to understand the more complicated topics.
