    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is very vigorous yet very understanding since you are a college senior.

    Course highlights:

The best parts of the course were how dedicated the teacher is at literature and ensuring her students receive the best education possible. I learned a lot about how to create different styles of writing while also pursuing a higher vocabulary through the very thorough books.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say do as much extra credit as possible as the tests and many assignments will lower your grade. The amount of extra credit will ensure an A in the class.

    Course Overview:

The teacher has an amazing personality and is very passionate about her profession.

    Course highlights:

Although I have not completely finished this course, my writing skills have definitely already improved. Mrs. Ginn really tries to prepare you for college essay writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be upset if you write a bad essay at first. You have many chances to improve. Also, take advantage of the extra credit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is not only interesting, but it was also very educational. We read a lot of books, studied them, and most importantly, learned to appreciate them. We were taught how to write different types of essays and were regularly trained to successfully write each of them.

    Course highlights:

This class involved a lot of reading and writing and though it sounds strenuous, it is not. It was very fun studying the classics and learning to write different types of essays which, by the way, are very helpful when you're taking a placement test or applying to scholarships.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it. It is much easier than English Lit. and it is much more fun. You will actually enjoy the readings that are assigned to you and you will also get to brush up on your essay writing skills which are very important at this point in your high school career.
