    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Eklund truly cares about the success of all of his students and he insures that everyone understands before moving on.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I have learned the basics of motion both rotational and directional, kinetic energy, potential energy, momentum, vectors, and gravity.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

First understand the basic concepts and then build on the ideas. Always draw a free body or diagram whenever beginning a problem!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is very well thought out and truly engages students into an exciting learning experience.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the many demonstrations he would give in order to engage students and allow them to see real world examples of the many equations they are learning. I learned a lot about the mechanics around physics from forces all the way to energy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would get all assignments prepared on time in order to keep up with the learning schedule.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Eklund does an amazing job to work with you. He stays after class with you, lets you redo ALL papers, and lets you use notes on test. All you have to do is ask questions and put out effort.

    Course highlights:

While taking the course it better prepared me for my ACT because there is a science portion. For my friends who have not taken physics yet were not prepared for the ACT.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

TAKE IT, especially if you are going to go into a four year university and looking into a science major.
