Always Do the Reading
Lots of Writing
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Unless you're planning on majoring in history/social sciences, this class is not needed. It is mostly a self-study course. Exams are almost weekly and involve a lot of cramming the night before. Each chapter is about 40 pages long and full of content. The exams are very detailed and often difficult, but the class grade can be maintained above a B if homework/classwork assignments are completed and thorough.
Highlights included in-class debates, presentation discussions on major historic events (World Wars I and II, etc), and an in-depth approach to European history. I learned how to self study heavy amounts of information as well as how to note-take efficiently.

Advice for students:
Read the chapters before taking exams. Don't wait until the night before. Do all of your homework (especially vocab notebooks) and participate in class!
