With excel you can keep track of purchasing information, inventories, employee records and so much more. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel will prove very beneficial to a business person.

When I entered this course I was lost. I now can complete a spreadsheet, I can complete a workbook containing several worksheets, I know how to calculate and insert various functions such as sum, percent, the concatenate function and so much more. I have become very comfortable working with Excel and the numerous functions it contains.

This course contains a great deal of information and numerous topics to learn. Pay special attention to the readings as the do explain the material very well. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to get an excellent instructor, like I had. It is a difficult course to comprehend, but it is manageable.

Course highlights:
I learned to use all of the excel functions. She wanted to see formulas and the excel "buttons" used. I most impressive thing that I learned was when to use the PMT function when calculating rate. The manual that she provided was very useful.

You have to be dedicated to the lesson. Attend the chat sessions, read the course materials, then try to re-do the examples on your own. This helped me tremendously.
