    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

My name is Paul Axelband. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. I have spent two years at New York University College of Dentistry where I took courses in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and pathology as well as other dental courses. I have dissected human beings. I am very knowledgeable in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, the diseases and problems that can occur and the procedures to cure these problems. I have a Masters of Business Administration in Computer Methodology. I have worked with computers and system analysis for over 39 years. I have written many medical programs which have been sold to hospitals and medical institutions. I have sold computer programs to dentists and doctors. I have over 39 years teaching experience in computers and medical information. I am very knowledgeable in Medical Coding and Billing, I have written two 600 page coding manuals which explain in detail medical diseases and procedures for ICD-9 and ICD-10. I am certified in medical coding and billing. I have passed the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exam from AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association) and Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist from NHA. (National Health Career Association). I was named honorable mention in the CTU Faculty Excellence Awards for the Summer Quarter 2009. I was a Quarterly Student Experience Award Winner in March 2014

    Course highlights:

nothing at all, since I have been working in IT for over 38 years now, and I was taking this class just for the credits.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have never seen, touched a computer, then listen very carefully and read, take notes, practice hard with flashcards, and have some else drill you daily.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was helpful and helped ease me into technology.

    Course highlights:

I learned about computer software and hardware. I also learned what networks actually were.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Because a lot of the material can be confusing especially if you don't know much about computer terminology I would suggest watching Youtube videos on each subject. It helps when someone can show you what they are talking about and break it down into lamens terms.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Very enjoyable course. While the chats were somewhat hard to understand because of background volume, the instructor was very helpful in assisting you. I highly encourage following along with her on the project, rather than trying to do your own, as examples are given during class to help you find your way on the IP projects.

    Course highlights:

A great wealth of knowledge on how the course of projects work. This was one of my first courses so it helped me to learn how to set up Microsoft Word for the 5 week documents.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As I stated above, stick with the professor and the rest of the class on the Individual Project to streamline the course.
