    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is highly informational and was one of the best-designed courses that I've taken. Each topic was developed from week to week and later assignments built upon what had already been learned. Professor Katuin did a good job explaining the course materials; although, not much information about the assignments was discussed in the group chats.

    Course highlights:

This course did a great job of explaining SWOT Analyses and how to use them to develop effective business strategies. Additionally, using the information garnered in the first three weeks, Weeks 4 and 5 allowed students to develop their own strategic plans that used SWOT Analyses, industry analyses, and market research to develop actionable plans for corporate success. This application of learning was instrumental in my comprehension of the topics, and I enjoyed being able to apply what I was learning to real-world situations.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to attend all of the live chats, whether you are available for the actual meeting times or just watch the archived videos. Additionally, Professor Katuin is one of the most detailed instructors I've had, and his feedback on assignments is very valuable. Make sure to pay attention to APA formatting and make any changes that he suggests.
