Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taking this course is very helpful for Healthcare field. I think even if you are not working on the clerical side of things its important to know and understand how the insurance works. Also trying to see things from a patients side instead of always the providers side. Very different if you have never been a patient/

    Course highlights:

I learned in more details about the use of ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes for billing purposes. The breakdown of why the providers pick certain codes to help determine the treatment and care of their patients.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Have knowledge of PowerPoint prior to taking this class. PowerPoint is used for all of the individual projects therefore if you don't know the program this class maybe very difficult.
