    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It was a very great class because I had the opportunity to read beautiful works of literature that are often neglected today. I also had the chance to improve my writing skills and prepare for the advanced placement tests.

    Course highlights:

    My favorite part of the semester was reading different works of literature from different time eras. I was given the opportunity to truly appreciate great novels . It gave me a glimpse of different time periods and of others' experiences.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read the books, all of them. The books are actually very interesting but also great references to use for the AP tests.

    Course Overview:

    It's a great class-it's interesting, you learn a lot, and overall it's just very fun.

    Course highlights:

    I actually learned how to read Shakespeare's language and enjoy the plays.

    Keep up with the reading! Don't get left behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I learned a lot in this class despite the workload. After the AP test, the hard work seems to have paid off.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to analyze more in depth and find meanings within writing and text.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Manage time well and if you do not understand something in a text, make sure to go back and clarify what you missed.
