    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the student will be required read difficult but interesting passages. We explore various units such as poetry, and fiction. Overall if you like reading, this is the class for you.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was our recent project called the Heritage project. This project required students to interview their parents about the history of there family. I learned that my moms side of the family owned where property owners and farmers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advice you take each assignment seriously and do them to the best of your ability. Also your going to have to get use to submitting the majority of your assignments through google classroom.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was definitely a challenge, but I love literature. We looked at plays, poems, and novels and they were all beautiful. There's always so much to work with when you look at analyzing it.

    Course highlights:

My favorite parts of this class were when we would read the play and then look at their different movie interpretations. After reading "Hamlet" we looked at three or four different movies and talked about how the directors all viewed the play differently, and we watched "Much Ado About Nothing" while reading it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

When papers start getting assigned don't procrastinate. You'll start having to work more each week, but it won't seem like too much if you're doing it a little everyday instead of having to work for eighteen hours straight the day before it's do.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You learn more about literature and you gain more knowledge and insight on the outside world. I thought the class was going to be boring and that I was not going to like the things we were learning about but actually it is the opposite.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course for me was learning about poetry. Although it was a challenging subject I think it is something that will stick with me the most because there is a lot that I took away from this.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely make sure to stay on top of the work because if not it is very easy to get behind.
