    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

World History is an amazing class. It was always very fun and interesting, and we got a lot of help preparing for the AP test.

    Course highlights:

My favorite parts of this class were when we would get into groups and pretend we were from a certain historical period in some part of the world and make decisions about what we would do in those scenarios. It would be like re-imagining important historical events.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Remember to always do the work assigned to you and study before tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was my first AP course, was going into it thinking it was just another class. The work is very rigorous, but I will guarantee that you will learn something in this course.

    Course highlights:

Tons of debate in this course, which for me was a definite upside. Public speaking is necessary, so this is a great way to get comfortable with that. Also, this prepares you for the rigors of AP courses quite nicely, so absolutely take this course if you're looking to do any other AP course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying is crucial. Complete the study guides and you'll do fine.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend AP World History to every student. Besides the fact that it's AP and gives boost to your GPA, you will walk away with so much more. You learn to put away your differences, cram last minute, get organized, and use your time wisely. All these skills I was able to use for all of my other classes.

    Course highlights:

This class taught me that sometimes in order to get the job done you have to put away your differences. It also taught me to use all of my resources. Just because you didn't get it in school doesn't mean you can't use people, the library, ect to get the knowledge needed. Most importantly, it gave me a little taste of college. I realized that college isn't going to be easy like doing one fill in the blank assignment and you're done. It will take work, dedication and studying.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to survive this class you must study. Studying is the key to success. Many students are use to looking at something and knowing it right away. This class isn't like that. You have to take the time to read, research and get familiar with the information. Be smart. If you have the option to choose seats choose wisely. Do not choose a seat by you friend because it will hinder you. You will become unfocused and realize you've fallen behind. Choose a seat by someone you know will help keep you on track and that will only help you get better. For studying don't just read the book. Use the internet, your teacher, and other students. Flash cards were a big help for me. Oh yeah, KEEP ALL WORK. You may see no use as of now but you will be glad that you saved it. Unit tests are long and sometimes you forget the information. All study guides will become your best friend.
