    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Warner is an excellent and hard-working teacher who puts 100% into her classroom everyday. Since it is an AP class it will count as a college credit if you do it as dual enrollment or get a 3 or higher on the AP test, which you are not required to take. The criteria is challenging and requires your dedication, but it definitely prepares you for college classes.

    Course highlights:

I learn how to write an analysis essay, decipher poetry, and read and understand plays written by Shakespeare. Highlights were finally being able to write strong essay and have the confidence to do it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Hard work and dedication are essential.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who is looking for a challenge. This class is definitely a challenging one that requires lots of reading and note taking. In order to be most successful, you have to pay attention to every component in the class.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the year we study hard on new vocabulary. This gave my fellow classmates and I the chance to expand our vocabulary and perform better on things like midterms and finals. The different projects in the class helped us with time management and how we scheduled our free time around our school work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take lots of notes and read all of the material you are assigned throughout the entire year. This will help you be successful and get the grade you desire.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher makes the subject easier to learn through engaging and out-going banter.

    Course highlights:

The reading is fast-paced, and you get to choose novels from a plentiful list provided. We had essays and quizzes that went along with our in-class and out-of-class readings. We learned how to investigate deeper meanings of pieces of literature, and how to apply techniques used in different works.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read a lot. The novels have amazing themes, and some may seem difficult to get into, but don't let the introduction fool you. If you ever have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. You can always ask your teacher to talk to them one on one. If you don't see any themes present right away, ask your teacher for help on how to find them.
