    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this to students who are interested in biology. Aka the study of life. For those who want to become a doctor or a scientist, it is important to know the fundamentals of a human and how we function. Although I may be bias because, personally I enjoy science. Some may think it's boring, but it is indeed useful. To know where you come from, or why one looks like one another. Studies in biology can very from multiple subjects, such as genetics or evolution. Where as you want to take the class for college credit or you enjoy science, it is extensive rewarded learning more about yourself and the environment around you.

    Course highlights:

The highlights in this course was everything! From the fundemtals of what cells are made out of, to why butterflies are important to our ecosystem. You learn many things that can connect to why the world is what it is today. That's the most rewarded part. To learn how I work and most importantly to grow my passion for science.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Know major concepts, and when reading multiple questions do not overthink them, sometimes the answer is within the question itself. Make sure you review the material so when the AP test rolls around, you won't feel as stressed because you have a better knowledge of the topics at hand.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course if a student is interested in biology. AP biology is glorious in the fact that it goes beyond common knowledge. There is a lot of depth to the subject which can be mentally excruciating or exciting. Just make sure to read the chapters!

    Course highlights:

My class covered all the topics from the Campbell book. We covered many topic such as protein synthesis, biochemistry, evolution, DNA replication, anatomy and physiology, etc. Most of the topics are at a molecular level, but that is what makes it fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is not a course you can shove to the side, it definitely requires time. I would read the chapters, and for even better knowledge, read them ahead of time so you can thoroughly understand the assignments and lectures beforehand.
