    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for any student who enjoys reading or learning about the English language. It helps you to understand the meaning behind text and why author's choose certain diction and syntax. Most importantly, it helps you to appreciate the art that is language.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the discussions that were held in our class about the books we've read, the debates we would hold, or even writing essays almost every day in class because it helped me to sharpen my writing skills.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students considering this course to go beyond the class. Take it upon yourself to study outside of what the teacher tells you to study. This class is college level so it's difficult and requires a lot of work but if you're willing to do it, you'll come out of it with a new understanding and new amounts of knowledge that will change the way you look at text forever.
