Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very fun and informative. In this course you will do a variety of labs depending on the unit of study and you will learn about life, the evolution of it and the world, the things scientists have done to further our knowledge, and much more.

    Course highlights:

In this course i learned about life and what makes people diffrent from others. For example, a person has both a dominant and a recessive trait so depending on the parent a person will have either a more common or unique trait. Also some diseases are not passed from parent to offspring(child) an is caused by a mistake in cell division example down syndrome which is caused by and by the added extra of the 21 chromosome causing the person to have 47 chromosomes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The most effective things you can do are to pay attention in class, read over your notes every night, use flash cards, and make sure to ask the teacher if there is anything your don't understand.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The material is great of you plan on majoring in Biology but most times Ms. Chandler won't answer your question. She really didn't start teaching until the end of the school year which is when she was nominated for teacher of the year.

    Course highlights:

For me the highlight of the course was learning all the different concepts of DNA and how it was discovered and who had a major role in it's history.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all of he notes!!!!! Pay attention to everything!!!! Be sure you understand all of the material!! If you have questions, ask!!!!!! Come to class prepared!!!!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Chandler is a very inspiring individual. She pushes you to do more than your limit but it helps you to improve yourself along the way. She's a great all around person and its never a dull moment in her class. She ensures that you have everything you need to be successful in her class and makes learning a great experience for her students. But more importantly she gets the job done.

    Course highlights:

My highlights from this course had to be going deeper into the cell cycle and photosynthesis. Even though these were very difficult sections she made our learning experience much more fun. The videos that she would play for us in class were very informational but also had a sense of humor and it made the topics mentioned very memorable. The labs she gave us for photosynthesis were fun such as the leaf disk experiment we learned how light passes through to help green plants grow.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You cant fall behind at all whatsoever. You need to strive to go above whats expected. As long as you do what is expected of you and complete every task in AP Bio you should be fine. The course may be challenging but as long as you study and pay attention and do your best it makes the class a whole lot easier.
