    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to students because it gave me a broader look into history that I didn't get in standard history class. AP courses pushed me to be better and to think bigger. You will practically talk like a history guru after this course, and your communication skills will flourish.

    Course highlights:

This course really prepares you for college and even though its a lot of work, it might not seem like it will benefit you at first but its all worth it in the end. i learned the standard way of taking notes the same way i would in college and that the teacher waits on no one. my highlights shined through my writing, my essays began to get better and it even showed through some of my other classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

background knowledge is expected! Taking notes are essential in any classes but in this one specifically, your notes should practically be everything that comes out of your teachers mouth. they will help you in the long run. and dont just take notes, actually study them and quiz your friends with flash cards and always study old essay prompts and styles. learn how to use more information in your writing even if you think that you have enough and always read your AP book for better understandings of classroom materials.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you can learn so much more than in your normal US history class. Although the class is taught at a faster rate, you get details about events that you might not have known prior to taking the class.

    Course highlights:

During September of my junior year, when I took this class, I did a project about President Kennedy. I had to read a biography about him and write things I found interesting. I found out that he didn't want to be at all like his older brother. He was the total opposite

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure you read. Reading the material will ensure that you will get an A or a B in the class and that you're prepared for class discussions.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class gives you the opportunity to gain college credit; however you are going to have to work hard and do plenty of studying.

    Course highlights:

This class helped further my knowledge in the history of the country I live in. You start from the B.C era and make your way all the way to current history. This can be overwhelming!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure when you take this class that you study every consistently!
