    Course Overview:

Cool class, cool subject, albeit, tough. The course is demanding and requires much home study.

    Course highlights:

The end of the year projects were cool. Everyone made a science related project and brought it in.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study. Often times, not everything is covered during class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Carlson is a fantastic teacher who teaches the course comprehensively. His lectures are in depth and his frequent and crucial quizzes helped me learn the material.

    Course highlights:

Many of the labs are fascinating. Michael Carlson has us breed fruitflies to show how gene pools work in real life over time. I learned about the science behind evolution, reproduction, and protein synthesis.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The teacher purposefully makes the quizzes and tests very difficult. They make up 90% of your grade, so paying attention during his lectures and studying frequently is crucial.
