Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is about not only the environment, but also people. You will learn how interconnected nature is within itself and how humans have impacted it so much. There is a mix of chemistry, biology, and even physics.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about soil salinity and how important it is to have the proper pH for different kinds of plants, especially in agriculture. We did a really cool lab growing bean sprouts in water with different levels of salinity to see which level they grew in best. I learned so much about the history of our world and the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for a lot of lectures and notes. Even if you feel like you are not that interested in the environment, this course will give you the opportunity to understand how amazing it is and really appreciate how beautifully everything in nature works. Make sure you study a lot, as there are many complicated cycles within nature.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to all student to learn more about how your own body works and the wonders behind how it keeps you being you.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the dissections which taught me a lot about the anatomy and structure behind the way our bones and muscles are structured.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn to be more empathetic to those with physical disabilities or differences. We should all learn to be more open minded when it comes to seeing and discussing bodies that are different from what is considered the "norm". Every body is a beautiful body.
