    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this class as it provides excellent preparation for higher level math courses as well as learning required math skills. As long as you are willing to learn, the resources are there and you will.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were complex concepts, and proving that you could actually do them. Seemingly impossible topics turned out to be very doable, as I learned that it I take my time and put in effort, I could do the math.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The biggest key to success in this course is to put in efficient work and study time. There can be no distractions, electronic or otherwise, and you must work with the math. When it gets hard, power through and try to find how to solve the problem. You'll struggle but once you figure it out, you'll have a greater understanding of the material and do better overall.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to provide a student with a strong foundation in Calculus while simultaneously preparing them for college level classes. Moreover, the class, in its hands off teaching style, also serves as a great personal learning experience for any student that takes it as it will reveal to them their true nature when it comes to work ethic and intelligence; for this reason, I would strongly recommend it to any student as more than a class in mathematics, but a very beneficial one in personal growth as well.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included Mr. Moor's personality, however I also learned a great deal of first level calculus while also learning about who I am as a person. The latter information I then applied to all of my classes which resulted in an unprecedented increase in both my grades in those classes as well as my raw understanding of their content: a beneficial experience to say the least.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering AP Calculus AB, I would recommend that you take every lesson seriously as, similarly to any math class, the lessons build on themselves. Additionally, I would recommend that you make efforts by yourself, outside of class, to understand the material whether that is with a study group of your peers or online with videos or other resources, such effort will only increase your personal understanding of the material and, in doing so, will relieve the stress many students experience with the class and, thus, make it more enjoyable in the process.
