    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class gave me a whole new perspective to creativity and innovation. It helped me recognize the creative talents I had and how to apply them to everyday life. Along with that, it gave me more motivation to push through my failures to achieve the most amount of success as I reach my future career goals.

    Course highlights:

After taking this class, I gained insight into the multiple intelligence's that each person possesses, how to design projects using a 7-step process, how to take risks, and what my key motivators are. There are a lot more concepts that accompany this class, but these were just the basics. People do not realize the creative side of things and the one part that this class covers really well is making sure students grasp a new perspective. Assessing creative confidence was another highlight to this course as it assisted me in facing my fears as well as believing in my methods.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For students considering this course, they will achieve the best results if they open up their minds to many possibilities and let the ideas flow. There are not many rules or guidelines to follow except to write about personal opinions, feelings, and experiences. If a student is uptight and generic in responses to discussions or assignments for this class, they will not get a feel for the creativity and innovation side of things. It will also be reflected in their grade. Researching and truly reading the required articles or watching the required videos are essential to a student's success for this class. The information is exciting to learn about, but students must be open to it.
