    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course specifically off of Professor Haag and his engaging teaching style.

    Course highlights:

This course tested my interest in business. I learned the basic business models one would use when starting a business and how to target a specific market. The highlights of this course was Professor Haag opening my eyes to what typical consumers fall for in marketing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise those considering to enter with an open mind and pay attention to all that Professor Haag says.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Business Calculus is required for all business majors. It was a good class but it was also very challenging and in talking with business professors and students, it seemed unnecessary to require calculus for business at all.

    Course highlights:

I gained perseverance. Math is not naturally my strong suit but through asking for extra help and participating in TA study sessions I was able to keep up.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework even though it isn't required to be turned in for a grade. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Contact the TA for help or to go over a lesson or problem.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is an incredible course that focuses on being practical, and applying all lessons learned to the real world.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about the app industry, and evaluating ideas. It's cliché, but focus on the details - the small things are the big things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use Haag! Schedule meetings with him, throw around ideas, pick his brain, be annoying. If you want to really learn, he is a great resource - utilize it!
