    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course prepares you fully for the AP exam and college writing. It is an introduction to critical analysis of complicated text and more meaningful analytical writing. This course greatly increases your writing and critical analysis skills which benefit other areas of your life outside of english.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the writing and analytical skills gained. This course teaches you several techniques to analyze literature, and even more techniques to write effectively about them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read! Read in class, read outside of class, but whatever you do- read! There is no better way to improve your writing and literary analysis than to immerse yourself in literature and writing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

i would recommend this course because taking english classes could help you in so many ways. It helped me become a better writer and appreciate the beauty of poetry and books. It may also open your eyes to things you were not aware of after your english teacher has made you read a book.

    Course highlights:

i learned many things. I learned how to write a good well written essay with details and facts, I also learned how to make a good works sited page. I also learned how to write different types of poetry. My favorite part of this course was being introduced to such amazing books that really opened my mind to what the future may be like if we let technology take over, the name of the book is Feed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

i would advice you to actually have an open mind, sometimes what you read in this course you will not agree with but keep an open mind you might be surprised. MOst of all, always do the reading and write good responses, actually put thought into them.
