    This class was tough.

You learn how to analyze rhetorical devices and how they function and serve to persuade their respective audiences.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The grade you get in this class reflects the work you put in. Although it is a tough course, when you put in enough work and effort, you appreciate the things you learn in this class. It is really a worthwhile class to take.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot about the English language itself, rhetoric, and philosophy. While my writing style didn't drastically improved, my thinking and questioning did.

    Course highlights:

I liked the mock trial we did for our first semester final. It was far more interesting to perform and listen to.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Careful about waiting to finish portfolios and essays the night it is due! Also, he is very intimidating, but you get used to him after first quarter.
