    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You will learn more than just books and how to analyze them, Mrs. Scott will teach you how to be proud of who you are and to trust yourself and your brain. You will never feel stupid, or as though you can't do something. Mrs. Scott makes every student know that even when something is hard, it will eventually pass and that you just have to work hard and everything will fall into place.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to really analyze a book and find the underlying meanings behind the text, that words never just mean what they say.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do it, this class will be hard but what you take away from this class will be so worth the work. Make sure to actually read the books and pay attention to details.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it improves your writing skills and also passing the AP exam means less money you have to pay for college.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the Research Project and I learned so much about the government and what they do in order to ensure the greatness of their country

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be lazy. Read the novels you're assigned to read because that is what you do for English and if you read the books, the tests will be relatively very easy for you. Reading tests was basically 60% of the entire school year's grade. If you don't read the novels, you won't be successful

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Didn't learn much, just more work. You can take AP test without taking this class.

    Course highlights:

The only benefit to me in taking this course is that it's weighted, however, due to the workload, my grade was actually lower than it would have been in a regulars level course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work, but I'd just say don't take this course.
