Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Through class participation and discussion, students are able to evaluate the famous works of art that have changed the course of history.
I was able to explore different artistic expressions that covered topics like politics, gender, race and religion from various cultures. No other course changes the learning environment to one of discovery. I genuinely enjoyed coming to class because not only was I being exposed to these pieces, I learned to develop proper visual, contextual and comparative skills so I could gain an in depth understanding of the image.

Advice for students:
I believe the best study tool to succeed in this class are flashcards. If you place the image on one side and additionally information on the back, you will be able to familiarize yourself with the art faster than just reading a textbook. Studies have shown that flashcards enable active recall, which forces the brain to memorize new material.
