    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is difficult but worth the effort. Hyatt does not go easy on students, but if you stay on her good side she'll work with you. Definitely make an effort to be friendly to her; it'll be worth it when you need help on an essay or turn in an assignment late. She isn't too hard on late work, but she usually gets swamped with late essays near the end of the 9 weeks so make sure to turn yours in early enough to ensure it gets graded on time. You're going to be doing a whole lot of timed essays so that's something you need to be good at.

    Course highlights:

Hyatt has taught me more than any English teacher I've had previous to her or after her. I learned how to write a quality essay while also making sure to answer the question, getting my point across, meeting the word limit, and meeting the time limit. She also taught me a lot about analyzing literature & overall I'm very glad I took this class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Again, stay on her good side. If you're nice to her she's nice to you. Show her that you have good work ethic (even if you don't) and do your best to get your work in on time. Other than that just do your best and try not to let the workload get you down.
