Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the workload enhances your time management and critical/analytical skills. The teacher is always there for guidance and help, and is easy to build a relationship with.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were that I was always able to work in groups or in partners in order to better myself as an english writer and speaker. In this course, I learned how to analyze texts for different reasons, and how to build on the evidence in order to make my argument stronger.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The biggest piece of advice for anyone considering the course is to simply do the work with your best effort. When you do all of the work required, class time goes by faster because you are already prepared. Also, do the readings because when classmates don't read, discussions in class aren't that interesting.

It helps with the transition of how one need to look at different parts of the story, not just the story as a whole.

    Course highlights:

One of my highlights was getting to read the Great Gatsby as it was a very compelling story with lots of good discussion material.

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the reading assigned as it will hep you develop in both reading Lexile, and in discussions as there are many books with many great discussion topics.
