Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed taking this class a lot because the human brain really interests me. I loved learning about why people think the way they do, how they over come hardships and how multiple people react to the same thing. I also find mental illnesses very intriguing, that was my favorite unit.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was bonding with the other psych students and learning about mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend using flask cards, whether electronic or paper. That is the way I got through this course and the most useful memorization skill. There is a lot of diseases, terms, and people you must know for psychology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not ignore the readings! Make sure to follow the syllabi! Ask a lot of questions in class for clarification and don’t wait until close to the test day if you are confused! Don’t procrastinate! You will not have time to fully understand how the concepts all fit together. Take his practice tests and quizzes online. They really help you understand the format of the multiple choice questions and what they are looking for! Make personal examples with your vocabulary! You should buy a AP Exam prep book. They really concise the information well to the crucial points. Use the super learning teams time to review with people and talk the concepts out. Ask a lot of questions in class if you don’t understand! Make sure you ask why you got something wrong on the quizzes so you can use them to study for the test. Have fun!
