    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Allen is a great teacher and a great person. As a person who is not the greatest at math, he has taught me so much, and I feel prepared for college. I've learned a lot about derivatives and integrals and I can say I can do them comfortably now.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learned about derivatives the best, which is good since its pretty much the only thing you learn how to do the entire year. You learn about derivatives and the entire year, but you just build off your knowledge from the chapter before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

AP CALC REVIEW BOOK IS A MUST. Also, your friends are a great resource. Get together study groups at Panera and help each other out.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This will be one of the most challenging math courses that you will take. Whatever grade you get in this class indicates the type of career that's perfect or not so perfect.

    Course highlights:

This course challenged my math skills from the start and even as classes come to a close. It, however, helped me improve my critical thinking skills and helped me prepare for college.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study all the materials and do your homework. They may seem tedious, but that "A" at the end of the quarter/semester/year will be worth the work.
