    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Learning about physics gives one a greater understanding of how the world around us works. It lets you look at what seems like simple situations through a different perspective. What one may think is common sense can actually be proved with physics.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of this course is the demonstrations the teacher gives before we learn a new topic. He brings real life examples and applies physics concepts to give us a new perspective of the world. My favorite subject in Physics was energy, specifically the difference between potential and kinetic energy. Instead of seeing a ball roll down a hill, I now see a stationary object on high ground with potential energy which is converted to kinetic energy as it falls and gains speed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For someone who has a deep understanding of math problems, this class will be relatively easy. You just need to pay attention and make sure you take notes because it may get confusing at times, but it can be quickly learned. For someone who may not have an easy time with mathematics, it may be smart to make flashcards to know which formulas must be used for certain problems. It is not necessary to memorize the formulas themselves because the teacher gives each student a formula sheet to use on the tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the way Mr. Evans teaches allows everyone to enjoy the concepts of physics through labs, experiments, and videos! Physics is just an interesting course to learn about overall. Being able to know how objects move and act all around us brings us to pay more attention to our surroundings. Overall, physics is a very fun and interesting course to take!

    Course highlights:

I really loved doing different types of labs as I found it very enjoyable and helped me understand the concepts of physics. The one lab I really loved the most was the Marble Coaster Lab where we tried to calculate the potential and kinetic energy and where the ball would land after it rolls out. It was fun as the lab was a competition between the other classmates to see who was the most accurate to where their marble was going to land. I also really enjoyed learning about frequencies and mediums. Using a slinky really helped me understand how waves work and it was fun to play with as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students considering taking this course would be to always be in class everyday. It'll be hard to makeup work and tests if you're absent. In order to pass the class with an A, you'll need to do all your homework, study for the tests, and complete all the labs in class. The most important advice is to be open-minded in this class and have fun learning the concepts of physics!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because it the synopsis of all courses and world.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basis and importance of life like what is potential energy, kinetic energy, velocity, etc. Words can't described my or any other students' experience in that class

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in that class, the only advice I would like to give is to pay attention and have fun.
