Not too easy. Not too difficult.

The highlight of this course is definitely my classmates and teacher. My teacher made learning fun and easy to understand, and my classmates pushed me to work hard. I learned a lot about what makes good writing and how to do it.

Students have to do their work no matter what. It is important to not be behind. It is also just as important to understand the material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although AP classes are generally tailored to be more challenging than other courses, the one AP class that should definitely be considered above all is AP English Literature. In my opinion, this particular AP class feels much more engaging and personal -- making the overall experience not only educational and challenging, but also satisfactory.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight of this course was singing as a character from the Shakespearean play, Othello. Such an activity made the class closer together as it eliminated the concept of shyness. This class also focuses heavily on universal themes. As such, the class teaches students how to identify such themes in even the most obscure and hidden areas of a literary work. This skill is especially useful because it is something that can be carried on to other sources of media such as television shows and movies.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Since most of the work is reading, the best advice I can give is always take time reading and, if given enough time, re-read everything because I guarantee there will be very significant details that were overlooked previously.
